Our Story
Charis Angels Childcare Center is the culmination of our deep passion for providing exceptional early childhood education and care to the children in our community. Director
Mr. Endurance Cletus Akpan, a native of Akwa Ibom State, was born and raised in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria, on April 28th, 1992. He is an accomplished individual with a strong passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children and families.
Mr. Akpan's educational journey is marked by his pursuit of excellence. He obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 2003 and successfully completed the West African Examination Council (WAEC) in 2009. He furthered his education at Heritage Polytechnic Eket, where he earned a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration and Management Studies in 2015.
Throughout his academic years, Mr. Akpan attended esteemed institutions such as Holy Family Nursery/Primary School, where he laid a solid foundation for his education from 1997 to 2003. He then proceeded to Edemsco Secondary Commercial School, where he completed his secondary education from 2004 to 2009. His passion for business and management led him to pursue a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration and Management Studies at Heritage Polytechnic Eket, where he obtained his qualification in 2015.
Mr. Akpan's passion for social welfare and community development is evident in his various leadership roles and achievements. He serves as the CEO of Endy Cletus Orphanage Initiatives, where he is dedicated to providing care and support for vulnerable children. Additionally, he holds the position of Director at EpotAfrik Ghana/Nigeria Kitchen, contributing to the culinary industry and promoting cultural exchange. He is also the CEO of Educlets properties, focusing on real estate development and investment. Furthermore, he has held leadership positions at Reigners Palace Chapel, demonstrating his commitment to serving and empowering others.
As the Director of Charis Angels Childcare Center, Mr. Endurance Cletus Akpan brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and a deep sense of compassion. His dedication to the well-being and holistic development of children is the driving force behind the center's commitment to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Under his guidance, the center strives to create a foundation for lifelong learning, making a positive impact on the lives of children and families in the community.
Lead Educator/Childcare Specialist
Miss Eunice Owusu is a dedicated and passionate Lead Educator/Childcare Specialist at Charis Childcare Center. With a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for children, she plays a pivotal role in shaping the learning experiences of young minds.
With a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Miss Owosu brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Her experience working in various daycare and preschool settings has equipped her with a deep understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
As the Lead Educator/Childcare Specialist, Miss Owosu collaborates closely with the director to develop and implement the center's educational programs and curriculum. She provides guidance and support to the teaching staff, ensuring that each child receives personalized care and a stimulating learning environment.
Miss Owosu's nurturing nature and excellent communication skills allow her to build strong relationships with both children and parents. She believes in creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported in their individual growth and development.
Passionate about continuous improvement, Miss Owosu stays up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in early childhood education. She conducts training sessions and workshops for the staff, sharing her knowledge and helping them enhance their skills.
